There has to be room for a life.

The photo archive has a desk with too many screens, friends in the water at Maya Bay, the Shanghai skyline, and a view over Prague. Put them together and you get a much better introduction to me.

The desk is where a lot of the work happens. The rest is part of what I want that work to leave room for.

The work needs context.

I grew up around my family’s restaurants, including Piv’s Pub. That gives the word “business” a physical setting for me: a room, people working in it, and people choosing to spend time there.

Study abroad took me to China and Prague. The photographs from that period keep the places and the people in view. They are a chapter I want alongside the projects and the trading record.

Not every part of life needs a pitch.

A photograph can be enough on its own. There is a place, a person, a moment someone thought to keep. I want room for those images here without having to attach a business lesson to each one.

That is part of the point of having a personal site. The work can be taken seriously, and the people and places around it can have their own space.

There should be a person here, not just a scoreboard.

A place for the whole story.

Markets and software give me plenty to work on. The journal also has room for a trip, a photograph, and the things that pull my attention away from a screen.
